Movement, Mechanics and Areas to Explore
Character Movement and Mechanics.
The main movement of the character is jumping and dashing. Previously i had a system where the player would have to collect stars in order to double jump and when he ran out he would not be able to jump any more. This made double jumping a limited resource. After looking at a few games on YouTube of similar nature, I decided to go with a stamina system. Both jump and dash will be linked to one stamina bar. This is a major redesign of the character movement system. It is expected to impact all the current levels in the game.
Areas to explore
So Far i have 4 Areas planned for the player to explore. Each will have their own set of challenges to overcome.
Trials of Ninja
A platformer about a ninja overcoming obstacles to escape a mysterious world.
