Developing Original Art
I have partnered with an artist to develop an original character for the game.
In order for me to release a proper prototype and promote the game as i need to, this had to be done. This is what the first draft looks like. The colors are not final, there is still a lot of work still to go into this design. Hopefully with in the next week i can have more to show but that's it for artwork for now.
Also i'm designing a progression system within the game. This is more difficult than i anticipated, but necessary. This has forced me though, to re-think how the game mechanics work, along with what collectibles mean in the game.
I have a rough sketch for the game map and i have been working on the individual areas developing ideas for levels. Not much more i can say but, this is a tedious task. Keeping the player engaged with the limitations i have, will be a challenge.
Still up to the task though.
