Updates, Fighting Gameplay and Commands


Newly Available Builds 

I have finally managed to build a successful mobile build, for Android phones. Also as always, I have a PC build. 

Content Updates 

 Added More Intro and Win animations, fixed many character models and costumes, fixed rewards, and minor UI fixes. Removed the ability to update Commands when creating a character. This is now only available when customizing a character.

Updated Features

UI Updates

I updated the UI to facilitate quality of life features such as having similar task buttons in the same place everywhere in the application. For example, closing menus. Buttons that close menus will always be on the top left of the screen.

Added visual feedback to the character select buttons that lead to the delete character functionality.

Added the ability to pause the game during the Fight Game Mode. When you press the timer for a short period of time the game shows you a pause menu which allows you to return to the main menu.

Added Features

Combo Counter

I added a combo counter for users to be able to track their combo and gauge the progress of their skill with a combo. However, implementing this brought to light some issues when the hitbox implementation. At times Hitboxes register more than one hit with a move lands. This inflates the combo counter. The issue is added to known bugs.

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where you were not able to see the updated character skins during the character creation process.

Fixed an issue where you were not able to see character animation when choosing them during both the character creation process and character update process.

Known Bugs

Hitbox Registration Bug

When executing combos there are instances where the hitbox registers two(2) hits instead of one(1).

Animation Customization Bug

When Updating your Intro and win animation the system cannot determine which is Intro or win and updates them at random. Hence sometimes your win and intro animations change when you have not updated them. You do however only switch to previously selected animations. 

Character Creation Bug

When you are creating a character you can not select a Body mesh and successfully create an empty character.
